• Avoid alcohol for three to four days before injections.
• Skip NSAIDs like Advil, Motrin, or Aspirin for several days before your treatment unless medically necessary.
• Stay hydrated before and after your appointment. 
• Stop taking fish oil, which can slow clotting, three to four days before your appointment.
