Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons Serving Denver & Lone Tree, Colorado
Frown lines between the eyebrows, sometimes called “11s” or glabellar lines, are one of the most common cosmetic concerns. These creases can age your face and make you appear upset or irritated. If you want to refresh your complexion, an injectable treatment such as Xeomin® may be the perfect solution.
Xeomin® is clinically proven to improve the appearance of glabellar lines. At Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery Aesthetics, our licensed nurse injectors have the skill and experience needed to offer you natural-looking results from this treatment.

What is Xeomin®?
Xeomin® is an injectable prescription medicine similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic. It is used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows. In addition to frown lines, Xeomin® is sometimes used to treat forehead lines and crow’s feet.
Unlike other neurotoxin treatments, Xeomin® is a “naked” injectable because it contains no additives or proteins. Some think that this may prevent the treated area from becoming resistant to the injectable.
How Does Xeomin® Work?
Every time you frown or squint, the muscles between your eyebrows contract. This muscle action causes your skin to crease. Over time, your skin loses elasticity, and these creases become more deep-set.
Xeomin® improves the look of lines by temporarily reducing muscle contractions in the treated area. This process won’t leave your face looking stiff or overdone. Our licensed nurse injectors will strategically administer the treatment to create a seamless, natural-looking result. We know that you want to look like yourself, but with fewer lines.
Best Candidates for Xeomin®
Xeomin® may be right for you if you are an adult looking to improve moderate to severe frown lines. Before performing any injectable treatment, our staff will ask you about your medical history, allergies, and your experience with similar products, if applicable. These questions will help ensure that you are a good candidate for Xeomin®.
While most people are excellent candidates for Xeomin®, there are a few situations in which the treatment may not be appropriate. These situations include if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a skin infection at the planned treatment site
- Have received another botulinum toxin product in the last four months
Park Meadows Aesthetics is amazing! I truly enjoyed my experience there. Madison is super sweet and made scheduling easy! She also had my Brilliant Distinctions info already which made checking out and paying easy. Shanna is a doll. She’s knowledgeable, funny, and calming if you have any nerves. I got Botox which was quick, painless and super affordable. The lobby area is really nice and inviting. I will DEFINITELY be back 🙂 thank you Park Meadows!!
How is Xeomin® Administered?
We perform Xeomin® injections from the comfort of our modern, elegant non-surgical treatment rooms. Our licensed nurse injector will administer Xeomin® to specific muscles in your forehead to begin relaxing your frown lines. This process generally takes approximately 10-20 minutes. You may feel a pinching sensation and some tolerable discomfort.
Results after Xeomin®
You may see an improvement in the appearance of your frown lines in as few as three days. You will likely notice the full smoothing effect after one month.
How Long Does Xeomin® Last?
Though everyone is different, most patients experience results that last for three months or more. You can receive maintenance injections to prolong your new look.
