Dr. Chris did my DIEP Flap reconstruction on 12/29/09. He did a wonderful job! I’ve had a recurrence in my right breast and now I’m uneven. I haven’t gotten the chance to go see him again, and I’m leaving (moving) to Florida this Sunday. Everyone at PMCC is the BEST and I’m sure going to miss you all. Thank you for everything! This is the most incredible practice. I met Dr Chris when I was hospitalized last December 2014 for cellulitis in my tissue expanders. He came to the hospital to see me on a Saturday morning. I had my double mastectomy last June 2014 at MDAnderson in Houston and did not have a plastic surgeon here. We had hoped we could treat the cellulitis with antibiotics, but after doing daily IV antibiotics for 3 months, I still had cellulitis. In Feb 2015 Dr. Chris removed my tissue expanders and replaced them with implants. I reacted poorly to them too so on March 16, 2015 I had the DIEP Flap procedure. The DIEP is a no joke surgery and there was a ton of preparation for it. Both Dr. Chris and Dr. Jeremy performed this surgery together. I met with each of them several times before the surgery and everything was explained to me in depth. I could not be happier with the results! I have since had 2 fat grafting surgeries (the latest one being today) to get my new breasts looking the very best they possibly can. I am sore today but really feel pretty ok. I love Dr. Chris and thank God every day for putting him in my life. Breast cancer is so not fun, but this practice has helped me so much with my recovery, self image, and outlook for the future. Jeremy just finished the first step of my bilateral mastectomy. I was so scared to look at myself the first time. He was also the only one to see my tears…poor guy. He didn’t make me feel stupid. He talked me through it. Read their CV. Hear me out but check for yourselves. Compassionate. Leaders. Kind. Gifted. Perfectionists. Johns Hopkins trained and now pioneers in DIEP flap breast reconstruction. I’m the most fortunate cancer patient in the world having Stephanie Miller do my mastectomy and then to be tag teamed with these gifted passionate men…wow. I’m blessed, grateful and in awe.
