I will be forever grateful that my oncologist recommended Dr. Chris Williams and his staff to me for DIEP flap reconstruction after my breast cancer diagnosis. Through my subsequent bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction, Dr. Williams has always been very direct, responsive to questions and realistic about what could be accomplished. He willingly takes time to provide detailed explanation of options, so that I could be confident in my decisions. Dr. Williams also is extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled and talented. The details matter to him, and I could not be happier with the results of my reconstruction surgeries. Also, at a time when I felt my most vulnerable, Dr. Williams and his staff, to a person (scheduling, reception, nurses, surgical staff), were compassionate and caring. They showed kindness and empathy in every interaction, and actively worked to make each of my experiences the best possible. I felt seen and heard, and treated with dignity. My gratitude to them is greater than I can express. I recommend PMCS and Dr. Williams to anyone seeking breast reconstruction.
